So many people rush to get out of the valley. I would like to tell them how truly wonderful it is, and to enjoy it while they can!
-Stuart Prey
I believe that I attended Orondo School between 1989-1994, but it is so hard to remember back that far!
It’s funny but one of the best memories that I have of Orondo School was going back after I graduated High School. I went and saw Mrs. Truitt (now Mrs. Steichen) and got to see the room where I fell in love with reading. The chairs were so small, but the memories were so big that it really struck me. Mrs. Truitt was still amazing when I saw her then too, and after not seeing me for 16 years still recognized me!
I went to high school at Cascade Christian Academy, undergrad all over the place, but ended at Gonzaga University. Then a few years ago I went back and got my MBA from Gonzaga as well.
I left my job at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA where I was a Preoperative Business Director (youngest director in SHMC’s history) last year to pursue a career in Real Estate. I work alongside a close friend of mine from Gonzaga. My wife and I wanted to start a family, but 80-hour weeks are not terribly conducive to that!
So many people rush to get out of the (Orondo-Wenatchee) valley. I would like to tell them how truly wonderful it is, and to enjoy it while they can!
My greatest loves are my family, philanthropy, reading, travel, and trying to be a benefit to everyone I come in contact with.
Thanks Stuart for being an inspiration to future Orondo college grads.
Wishing Stuart, his wife and new baby great success in the future.
